HISTORY OF OUR OUTREACHES TO THE HOMELESS (Since 2014)

Bella Lamm, along with her son and daughter, began serving the homeless in downtown Jacksonville in 2014. Her mission from the beginning has been to distribute clothing, shoes, and personal care items to the homeless who live on the streets, many of whom are handicapped.

In 2018, Bella's outreach team began expanding when Neil and Neolla joined and began partnering with her to meet the ongoing needs of the ministry.

Our team has grown ever since, and during our monthly outreaches through the years, we have been able to distribute large amounts of clothing, socks, underwear, shoes, ponchos, umbrellas, backpacks, toiletries, and more.

A large amount of these items we received as donations from our church community and other ministries, but whatever we lacked had to be purchased by our team from our own proceeds.

Much sacrificial seed has been sown into the fertile ground of this ministry, but the fruitfulness we have experienced as a result far outweighs the sacrifice!

In our picture gallery below, you will see our team in action sorting through clothing, assembling care packages, and distributing them to the homeless on the streets. We also get to pray for their needs, hear their stories, and offer them compassion. This has been an amazing way for us  to display God's love to those who need it most.
